Less  interest in five students to submit their assignment R. P. Kalupahanage 1 , Dr. Sunethra Karunaratne 2 1. Wickramabahu National College, Gampola, Sri Lanka 2. Faculty of Science , University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka Abstract Action research was on chosen five students in grade 10-D who seemed to have less interest in submitting their assignments. The issue led me to investigate to find out the reason for their non participation. Students were expected to work independently and complete the assignment within a three weeks time. As the second action students in the classroom were grouped randomly and an interesting group assignment was given. This was expected to complete by the students as a group work in the classroo
